Officers could reportedly smell a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from Reyes.Reconstruction of the crash revealed that Reyes was traveling a minimum of 79 miles per hour in a 40 miles per hour zone, which the release said was considered to be reckless.Reyes was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second-degree felony, and intoxication assault, a third-degree felony.Jail records show Reyes was taken to the Ector County Detention Center Thursday and has two bonds totaling $65,000.
