first_imgGAA: Francie Friel has decided to leave his role as manager of Termon Senior Ladies after a hugely successful reign as manager.Friel, led Termon ladies to a history-making treble last season in what was a truly incredible season. Under the tenure of Friel – Termon ladies won the Donegal SFC, Ulster SFC and All-Ireland SFC titles in 2014.However, Friel has decided to step away following their loss on Saturday in the Ulster SFC final against Donaghmoyne.Friel was involved in the Donegal set-up under Jim McGuinness in 2011, 2012 and 2013.There are some rumours circulating that he may join Rory Gallagher’s backroom team for the forthcoming season – following the departure of Gary McDaid from his role with Donegal.
