Nine-year-old Austen Russell was killed when his father accidentally ran him over with the family truck. Even at his young age, Austen was “the ultimate BYU fan” according to his father, choosing to don No. 3 when he played sports in honor of Kyle Van Noy and Cougar basketball star Tyler Haws. BYU head football coach Bronco Mendenhall, as well as Van Noy, posted tributes to Austen online.Our thoughts and prayers are with the Russell family.
