The move came in response to a report from ESPN that dove into the “toxic” culture within the Maryland football program.The report detailed the events that led to the death of Jordan McNair during a workout in late May. McNair died from heatstroke two weeks after the workout.On Tuesday afternoon, Maryland held a press conference to discuss the alleged culture of the football program and apologize to the McNair family for their son’s death.
