Funimation, who handles distribution and licensing of Attack on Titan in the US, announced during Anime Expo 2017 that the upcoming third season of the show would launch in Spring 2018, which is as you know only about a year away. We won’t spoil that here just in case you’re not caught up with the anime nor reading the manga, but big expository bombs were dropped. What’s going to happen with Eren and his newfound special power and all the characters who are also hiding powers from their brethren? It’s a tough call, so make sure not to go and spoil it for everyone if you know what’s going to happen. The third season should pick right up where the cliffhanger ended, so if you’re still jonesing for more, you should hop into the excellent manga series and read all the way up to just about where the anime left off for a crash course in what to expect. It’s some good reading, and you’re not going to see any more anime for a little while, anyway.
