The online retailer is expanding its San Diego office with the addition of 300 new jobs.At the formal grand opening of Amazon’s new tech hub in San Diego’s UTC area, San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer and State Assemblymember Todd Gloria hailed Amazon’s decision to make San Diego one of the company’s 17 high tech hubs outside of Amazon’s headquarters in Seattle.In just under two years, Amazon’s workforce in San Diego has grown from just five employees to about 200.
